So last night was a unique night. I did something different. I had a wonderful opportunity to shoot a commercial for my line. Eric ( the producer/director ) shot all the footage. It was neat to see my ideas and thoughts all come to life not only through a picture but through a moving story. I loved to see all the movement in the bathing suits in the creative sets we thought up last min. We shot everything in and around my apartment. The place I live in is all old school, has such a vintage look and feel. I thought it would be a great idea to bring a great dane into the shots as well and let me tell ya...LOVED IT! I think the dog ( Wyatt ) had as much fun as we did. He was such a good lil guy ( OR SHOULD I SAY BIG ). I think we utilized every space in my 5 bedroom apartment. I went over to the apartment next door to see if they had any cool props we could borrow, but when I got there I remembered that they have this amazing couch....soooooo...we may have bombarded there place and set up the first shoot in there place. THANK YOU NABOURS the shots were amazing! All and all I can not wait to see the end product. I will keep you posted to the launch date :)

Did anyone watch this show as much as I did growing up? Why did it have to end. I think the show is brilliant. My favorite is totally the props portion on the show. I watched you tube for hours trying to find the funniest one. I think I found it.

Today is a glorious day, I'll tell you why. 1: its not raining and 2: its not raining. I started the day off right by going to the gym. I decided to change up the classes and do a LBB, stands for low bounce basic. Now don't be fooled by the words low and basic. I have never lifted my legs that much in one hour EVER. If I was to do the class over a mini kids pool, I would have that thing full of sweat in no time. I loved at the end of the class the instructor ended the class with a set of old school style aerobics. Yes she did use the words old school aerobics. I had so much fun!

I bought these while out and about at the forks one lovely afternoon. I love Peacock feathers and I found out that peacocks are not harmed to get these lovely feathers. They shed them like cats shed whiskers. YES. I was so happy to hear that. My house will soon be full from wall to wall in feathers de peacocks.

This dress caught my eye while surfing the net for hours. I would love to wear this dress out and about. Like I said earlier its quite odd and thats why I love it. I would almost say it looks delicate. It would be a perfect piece to show off while out for some evening cocktails. You might get some looks but soak up all the attention you can get after all you are wearing a dress that resembles an emu.

Get a load of those rings! Simply amazing. Who would have thought putting an animal head on a ring would be so perfect. I think that the odder things look the more I love them. Well done ring designer. Not to mention the dress is amazing as well!

Everyone should have at least one of the Shins songs on there music list. There music is chill and makes me want to sit in a circle with my friends holding hands. ha ha. I also hope you had a chance to see the movie garden state. If not, next sunday make it a movie night and watch it! You will also want to make a big bowl of home made popcorn with lots of butter and seasoning salt. yum!

Canada is AMAZING! I am off to this place ( Pickerel lake, Ontario ) in the morning. I cant wait to be there! I am so lucky that I get to visit a place like this, or even live within driving distance of this wonderful heavenly paradise! I am looking forward to the lazy days and the loon filled nights, playing games and reading books, fishing and tanning on the dock ..... The list really can go on!

I am officially obsessed with jump suits. I need to get on the train of making myself a solid Jumper. I searched high and low for the perfect one but I can't seem to find the one I want. The other day I was craving to go to a insane disco party. Whatever that means. I would love for someone to throw a 60's, 70's and 80's disco themed party that I can go to. I don't know if I just want to see how many pounds of flashy jewelry I can put onto my body or if I just want to dance a hole into the ground. I want to go out but I am just sick of the lame bar seen Winnipeg has to offer. Whatever happened to all the themed parties I used to go to almost 2 times a month. Should I plan a party?

Oh the flight of the Conchords

I don't usually write about guy fashion because I am more interested in what I am going to wear from day to day but how could you not love what these guys wear. I don't know if these guys have a stylist but I love there style. Flight of the Conchords has got to be one of my favorite shows. The stuff they wear is money. From the sweat shirts that have bear heads on them to the to extra small jackets Jermaine wears, everything is perfect. There vintage style is awesome.

My boyfriend and I decided to not put the bedroom window air conditioner in this summer. We are all cooped up in the winter that we thought it would be nice to have the window open all summer for fresh air buuuuuuut tonight is the first night that the blankets are in a nice large pile at the end of the bed ( perfect for my princess cat jersey to sleep on ) and all I can think about is I wish I had a room full of fans blowing on me :)

The internet gives me great inspiration to create new things. I love to see what other people have done and how creative we as people are. The way our minds work is just incredible.

Winnipeg has great support for local designers. I feel like a good handful of people will buy local before going to the large corporations. Living in the Corydon area is great. There are so many small local grocery stores, clothing stores, health food stores and not to mention one million sushi places.
